Ron Bertram for Town Supervisor

Ron’s long-term experience and commitment to the North Country will bring dedicated and proven leadership to our town. His extensive experience in local and county affairs (including preparing budgets) makes him well qualified to lead the town of Hammond in the years ahead:

            Born & raised in Hammond on his family farm
            Graduated from HCS; Attended SUNY Oswego
            Managing Partner of Bright Raven Family Dairy Farm (Hammond)
            Co-owner & Treasurer of ACE Contractors, LLC; Past recipient of The National Award for Excellence
            Member of St. Paul’s Lutheran Church; Board of Trustees (6 Years), President (2 Years)

            Past Member of Hammond Masonic Lodge (10 Years)
            Current member of the Hammond Fire & Rescue Squad (28 Years);

Doug Delosh for Town Council

Since 1970, Doug has been committed to the betterment of our community. He spends a significant time creating opportunities for our school children inside and outside of school. He feels that residents in Hammond want a clear vision for the future of our township and will promote fair, responsive government:

            Born & Raised in Massena, NY; Graduate of SUNY Potsdam
            Served in Active Duty for the US Army from 1970-1972
            Hammond Central School Elementary Teacher for 32 Years; Retired in June, 2002
            Returned to HCS as the Current Dean of Students at Hammond Central (2 Years)
            Received the Dewitt Clinton Masonic Award for Community Service in recognition
                of outstanding service to the community, which exemplifies the masonic teachings 
                of concern for the well-being of mankind and of belief of the world wide brotherhood
                of man.  April, 1995
            Received the Roy Jr. Lavarnway Memorial Award (voted on by fellow teachers) for service
                and dedication to HCS and the community.  1991
            Received an EMS Achievement Award from SUNY Canton
            Voted Teacher of the Week twice. Once by parents and once by students.
            Taught numerous First Responder Courses & EMT Classes through SUNY Canton
            EMT for 17 Years, Level 3 EMT for 9 of those years
            President of the Langbrook Meadows Senior Golf League
            Avid fisherman, outdoorsman, and scuba diver

Jim Tague for Town Council

As a Town Council member, Jim pledges to bring a balanced perspective to the town government. Jim has the business experience and neutrality that is needed to implement strong proposals for Hammond & its citizens:

            Born in Alexandria Bay, NY
            Graduate of Hartwick College & Tufts University, School of Dental Medicine
            Moved to Hammond in 1987 to raise his family
            Owner of his own Private Dental Practice (25 Years)
            Active member of the Hammond School Board (13 Years); Past President (4 Years)
            Serves on his Church Consistory; Reformed Church of the 1000 Islands
            Member of the Alexandria Bay Masonic Lodge
            Avid skiier, hockey player & hunter
